Religion and Culture Research Institute

Religion and Culture Research Institute was established as part of the Research Center for Culture, Arts and Communication in order to meet research needs of Iran in the field of religion and culture. At the time of its establishment, the institute began its activities in three areas of social studies, cultural policy-making, and intercultural philosophy with the aim of conducting cultural and intercultural studies. In the past few years, this institute focused its major activities on arts economics and cultural policy-making in the fields of family and public cultural policy-making. Some of the research projects carried out by this institute during the last year include “Critical Review of the Relationship between Economy and Culture”, “Class, Culture and Lifestyle in Iran”, and “Monographs of the Economics of Iranian Culture and Art”. Other activities of this research institute include compilation, translation and holding of specialized scientific meetings attended by scholars and experts in areas related to culture and religion.
